Located in beautiful and historic East Aurora, New York, Aurora Dental Care is a smaller, personable practice that serves people of all ages and conditions.

Small Town and Family Orientated

Founded by Dr. Keem in 1977, our practice made the transition to Dr. Petronio in 2004. We are committed to serving patients in East Aurora and the surrounding area. We make our homes nearby and are active participants in the East Aurora community.

Our office is located opposite the Tops Plaza, in a converted house. We have expanded our parking to make it easier for our patients, and added convenient handicapped access.

Our waiting room is warm and cozy, with a wood stove, comfortable couches and chairs, a wide selection of toys and reading material, and a friendly cup of coffee, tea, or water waiting for you.

The Latest Technology

A picture is worth a thousands words, and that is why we have an intra-oral camera for you to actually see your teeth. This helps you to understand the condition of your dental health. Believe it or not, as much as 50% of tooth decay may go undetected by the traditional methods of diagnosing. The secret destruction of your teeth is now a thing of the past.

Our newest laser, called the diagnodent, aids us in diagnosing hidden decay more accurately and confidently. The diagnodent, which scans the tooth surface with a harmless laser beam, is able to detect decay earlier, which often results in a reduction of the number and cost of dental procedures. This is a great way of keeping little problems from becoming big problems.

We know that some people get more nervous than others at the mere sight of a syringe. That’s why we use “The Wand”, a small hand piece that looks like a pen. This system allows for a virtually painless delivery of anesthetic in a very comfortable, non-threatening manner. It doesn’t look like a syringe, it doesn’t feel like a syringe, and it works better than a syringe. This will give you a much more pleasant dental experience.

At the completion of your appointment, we give a warm, moist face towel to refresh and relax you. These amenities are all part of our service because at Aurora Dental Care - we really do care!
